Enjoy the creations from
a 2015 MacBook,
a 37-key midi keyboard,
and a girl who simply loves to sing.

Ang… moved to New York City at the age of 18 with dreams of conquering the local live music scene. After 4 years of gigging at some of the big apple’s most iconic venues (SOB’s, Delancey’s & The Bitter End), studying and collaborating with NYU’s best creatives, Ang… is back in Toronto, putting all she learned into practice.

Having grown up in both Nigeria and Canada, the singer and songwriter’s first introductions to music came from church and the major pop singers of the 2000s. She has always been inspired by powerful women in music. So, when listening to her music, the influences of generational talents like Amy Winehouse, Beyoncé and Lauryn Hill can be heard.

Ang…’s music is a reflection of the experiences of a young woman exploring what it means to live and love in the 21st century. She taught herself how to produce during the pandemic. Now, she describes her music as “bedroom pop,” an homage to the place where she first made it.

Ang..., a 22-year-old girl from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, moved to New York City at the age of 18 with dreams of conquering the local live music scene. After 4 years of gigging at some of the big apple’s most iconic venues (SOB’s, Delancey’s & The Bitter End), studying and collaborating with NYU’s best creatives, Ang… is back in Toronto, putting all she learned into practice. Her experience as a self-taught musician, producer and songwriter shines through, especially in her latest project, ‘All This Time.’

In light of Mental Health Awareness month, ‘All This Time’ highlights the emerging feelings of isolation and loneliness impacting young people today. ‘All This Time’ affirms the importance of reaching out and finding support in your relationships. It urges listeners to take action in their healing while acknowledging the gravity and seriousness of mental health struggles.

Ang…’s music is purely a reflection of what it means to live and love in the 21st century. A young woman going through the turmoil of discovering her identity in a world where everyone else seems to have it figured out. Her current and future works can be described as bedroom pop, an homage to the place where she makes them, and encourages you to feel that intimacy and rawness when you listen.
